El Oráculo de la Serpiente Ardiente es la creación de Rachel Pollack y Robert M Place. Es una baraja de oráculo basada en el sistema cartomántico de Lenormand del siglo XIX pero con una dimensión espiritual más profunda. Se puede utilizar como una baraja Lenormand tradicional y también permite interpretaciones visionarias personales. La baraja está diseñada por el renombrado artista del Tarot, Robert M Place, creador de The Alchemical Tarot.

 Hay 40 cartas en el Oráculo de la Serpiente Ardiente, pero están numeradas del 1 al 38 porque hay una carta de Hombre y una Mujer para el número 28 y para el 29. Las dos últimas imágenes son el diseño del reverso de la tarjeta y la portada de la caja.
